CAS No. 481-72-1 The product is a bioactive anthraquinone molecule defined chemically as 1,8-dihydroxy-3-(hydroxymethyl)anthraquinone. It is a naturally occuring orange red crystalline powder with chemical formula C15H10O5 and molecular weight of 270.24. It occurs in Aloe vera, rhubarb and Polygonum multiflorum.
