2. Standardized Extraction Process: We prioritize ripe blueberries high in anthocyanins and never use rotten or moldy fruit, ensuring quality control from the source. We first wash the blueberries with clean water or ozone to remove surface impurities and pesticide residues. The fruit is then mechanically crushed (retaining the peel, as pterostilbene is primarily concentrated in the epidermis). Freeze-drying (below -40°C) or low-temperature hot air drying (≤50°C) is used to minimize component loss. Extraction is performed using safe, food-grade ethanol at a material-to-liquid ratio of 1:10-1:15 (raw material:solvent). The extraction is repeated 2-3 times, and the extracts are combined. Ultrasonication (20-40kHz) is also used to increase extraction yield by 20-30%.

3. Multi-stage purification: The first step involves enrichment using AB-8 macroporous resin. The extract is loaded and the pH adjusted to 3-4 to increase adsorption. The product is then washed with water to remove impurities such as sugars and organic acids. Desorption is then performed using 70-80% ethanol, and the pterostilbene fraction is collected. Rotary evaporation is performed below 40°C under a nitrogen atmosphere to prevent oxidation.

Secondly, to achieve high purity, silica gel column chromatography is performed, initially using a petroleum ether-ethyl acetate gradient elution. The main pterostilbene peak is collected and monitored by HPLC. Recrystallization is then performed using a food-grade ethanol-water mixture, achieving a purity exceeding 95%. Finally, preparative HPLC purification is performed, achieving a purity exceeding 98%, reaching pharmaceutical grade.

Strictly control solvent and heavy metal residues. This multi-stage purification effectively improves product purity and bioavailability, meeting the needs of diverse industries and applications.

4. Strictly control solvent residue: Solvent residue is a key safety indicator for pterostilbene powder, especially for pharmaceutical use. It must comply with international pharmacopoeias such as ICH Q3C and EP/USP. For solvent residue, we use GC to test for ethanol, ethyl acetate, and other residuals (compliant with ICH Q3C). For heavy metal residues, we use atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS) or ICP-MS to detect lead, arsenic, and other residues (≤10 ppm). For pesticide residues, we use GC-MS/LC-MS to screen for organochlorine and organophosphorus pesticides (compliant with EU MRLs). Heavy metal and solvent residues are strictly controlled to international pharmacopoeia standards (USP/EP), meeting the high-end demands of pharmaceuticals, health supplements, and cosmetics.

Comprehensive and Professional Test Reports: We operate five GMP-compliant production lines, strictly controlling key indicators such as heavy metals and solvent residues throughout the production process. Our internal control standards are stricter than those of USP/EP. For example, the main HPLC peak area must be ≥ 98% (excluding the solvent peak), and a single impurity must be ≤ 0.1% (HPLC normalization method). We also support third-party verification, with samples sent to SGS, Eurofins, and other agencies for review. Each batch of product is provided with a Certificate of Authenticity (COA), a heavy metal test report, and a microbiological test report. SGS reports are included with shipment, and third-party testing is also supported. This ensures full traceability from raw materials to finished product, ensuring consistent batch quality and cost-effectiveness, providing peace of mind for our customers.

Stability and Packaging and Storage: To ensure the chemical stability, purity, and safety of pterostilbene powder during storage and transportation, scientific management is implemented across multiple aspects, including raw material characteristics, production processes, storage conditions, and packaging materials, with verifiable data supporting this. First, HPLC/UPLC analysis is used to ensure the purity of the pterostilbene raw material is ≥98%, minimizing the impact of impurities (such as oxidation products) on stability. Second, accelerated stability testing (40°C/75% RH, 1-3 months) is performed on the raw material to verify its degradation trends. Airflow milling technology is used to enhance solubility while preventing particle aggregation that could impact stability. High-barrier, moisture- and UV-resistant aluminum foil bags are used for packaging. Water and oxygen transmission rate testing is used to ensure the packaging material has an oxygen transmission rate (OTR) of < 0.1 cc/m²/day and a water vapor transmission rate (WVTR) of < 0.1 g/m²/day. Heat seal strength testing is performed to ensure the packaging bag seals are leak-proof. Finally, we use accelerated testing (40°C/75% RH, 6 months) to simulate extreme conditions, and long-term testing (25°C/60% RH, 24 months) to provide real-world shelf life data. This rigorous testing ensures consistent product quality.
